Description
Chlorpheniramine helps relieve symptoms of cold and allergies by blocking the action of histamine. Pseudoephedrine constricts blood vessels in nose and sinuses. It shrinks the swelling and drains fluids. Paracetamol has an analgesic effect that is mediated through descending serotonergic pathways. Dextromethorphan decreases the activity in the part of the brain that causes coughing.
