Description:
Juvexy 10 mg Tablet is an oral medication containing Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist used for the long-term management of asthma, seasonal allergic rhinitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm. It helps relieve symptoms by blocking leukotrienes—chemical messengers involved in the inflammatory process responsible for airway narrowing, mucus production, and nasal symptoms in allergies.
This 10 mg strength is specifically designed for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and above, taken once daily for consistent symptom control.
Mechanism of Action:
Montelukast binds selectively to cysteinyl leukotriene receptors (CysLT1) in the lungs and nasal passages. By doing so, it inhibits the effects of leukotrienes that cause inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus secretion. This leads to improved airflow, reduced asthma symptoms, and relief from nasal congestion and other allergy symptoms.
