Description
Ebastine is an anti-allergic medication that helps to alleviate the effects of allergic reactions including hay fever and urticaria (hives). Sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, skin rashes, redness of the eyes, and other symptoms can be cured.
Ebastine is contraindicated:• In patients with known sensitivity to ebastine or to any excipient of the product.• In children under 12 years of age in the absence of efficacy and safety data.• In cases of phenylketonuria, due to the presence of aspartame.
It may cause Weight gain, headache, asthenia, nervousness, gastric intolerance, diarrhoea, constipation.
Drug Interactions
Ketoconazole or Itraconazole and erythromycin , rifampicin
