Description
This drug is indicated as a short term treatment (4 weeks) for heartburn associated with non-erosive GERD (digestive disorder), and short term treatment (8 weeks) of all grades of erosive oesophagitis. It is used to maintain healing of erosive oesophagitis, and relief of heartburn for up to 6 months.
Uses
The following are the uses of Dexlansoprazole 30mg Capsule:
- Used for treating heartburn and acid reflux
- Used to heal erosive esophagitis
- Used to reduce stomach acid production
- Used for long-term treatment of GERD
- Used to relieve symptoms of acid reflux, such as difficulty swallowing
- Used for managing acid-related conditions, providing relief for up to 24 hours
Side Effects
Side effects of this drug include nausea, vomiting, rash, hives, itching, difficulty in breathing, or swallowing, irregular, fast or pounding heartbeat, excessive tiredness, dizziness, lightheadedness, muscle spasms, uncontrallable shaking of a part of the body, seizures, severe diarrhea with watery stools, stomach pain and fever.
