Description
Cefixime is a medicine used to treat bacterial infections of different parts of the body. It belongs to the class of medicines called cephalosporins. It works by killing bacteria or inhibiting their growth. It is mostly available in capsule, tablet, and powder suspension forms. It is only indicted for Bacterial infections and does not work for viral infections, such as flu and cold.

Indications
This medicine is indicated for patients with infections of respiratory (airway) tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, biliary tract (gallbladder and ducts that course the liver) caused by sensitive organisms.
