Indications

Cefoperazone treats infections such as the ones listed below:

• Infections of the Respiratory Tract
• Intra-abdominal Infections and Peritonitis ( inflammation of lining of the belly)  Septicemia (invasion of bacteria and their toxins in bloodstream) caused by bacteria
• Skin and Skin Structure Infections
• Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Endometritis (inflammation of uterus lining), and Other Female Reproductive Tract Infections

Side Effects

This medicine may cause rash, diarrhoea, decreased neutrophils (White blood cells), decreased haemoglobin, eosinophilia (increased eosinophils), or increased transaminases (liver enzymes). Please cosult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
