Precautions 

Caution is advised before taking this vaccine while being pregnant. Due to high excretion rate, Dialysed (kidney failure patients getting dialysis) and to bring about effect in immunocompromised (low immunity) patients, there may be a need to administer larger doses. 

Contraindications 

This vaccine is to be avoided in case of severe febrile illness (a rapid onset of fever with other symptoms like weakness, chills and muscle pain due to an unknown cause).
