Description
Moxifloxacin is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. By targeting these enzymes, moxifloxacin disrupts the supercoiling and separation of bacterial DNA strands, thereby preventing bacterial cell division and leading to cell death.

Uses

- Should not be used in individuals with a known allergy to any of the components of the sunscreen, including active ingredients like avobenzone, octinoxate, or oxybenzone.
- Caution is advised when using in patients with a history of skin sensitivities or allergies to sunscreen products.
- Avoid applying to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin, as this may increase irritation or discomfort.
- Do not apply near the eyes or mucous membranes; if accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Reapply sunscreen every two hours or after swimming, sweating, or towel drying to maintain protection.
