Description
Timolol is a non-selective beta-adrenergic blocker (beta-blocker). It works by blocking the action of certain chemicals, such as adrenaline, on beta-receptors in the eye. By doing so, Timolol decreases the production of aqueous humor (the fluid inside the eye) by the ciliary body.
