Description
Sofosbuvir is a direct-acting antiviral medicine used in combination with other antiviral medicines to treat chronic Hepatitis C, an infectious hepatic disease caused as a result of infection by Hepatitis C Virus (HCV).
Indications
This medicine is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C, Liver transplantation and hepatocellular cancer.
Side Effects
Some patients taking this medicine may experience blood dyscrasias (blood disorders), anorexia, weight loss, insomnia, depression, anxiety, agitation, headache, dizziness, migraine, attention disturbances, blurred vision, cough, stomach upset or rash.
